With the presidential election coming up in the United States, both candidates must focus on what families need in order to get their vote to become President of the United States.
In a recent interview with Donald Trump, he announced his team of economic advisers. He stated that he is going to help families with child care. He stated that it was time to lower the costs of child care especially since childcare often costs more than a family pays in rent.
Trump’s idea is to provide families with a large tax break, as a matter of fact, he wants every dime spent on child care to be deductible on their taxes as he explained at a speech at the Detroit Economic Club.
At this time, families are only allowed to deduct $6,000 for the cost of the child care on their federal income taxes. Trump stated, as President, he will raise that amount significantly.
Of course, there are always those that disagree with whichever candidate you may be talking about when it comes to the direction they want to see America to go in the future.
